You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of EXPED WARFARE TRNG GRP PACIFIC.
Duties
You will perform budget formulation and estimates; review and evaluate budget requests; and control and report on obligations and expenditures.
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of the organization's programs and administrative operations.
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds.
You will assign work to subordinate employees based on employee capabilities, priorities and difficulty.
You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction.
You will hear and resolve employee complaints, referring serious complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervision.
You will take disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands and recommend more serious disciplinary measures to higher supervision.
You will identify and arrange for employee development and training requirements.

- You will be required to possess and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing and resolving budgetary problems by modifying financial systems, programs, or operations to support command plans, programs, and activities.
