This Integrative Activities Specialist position is located in the Division of Information and Intelligent Systems (IIS) within the Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE).

Qualifications

To qualify at the GS-12 level, you must possess one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to GS-11 level in the Federal Service gathering information, identifying and analyzing issues, and developing recommendations to resolve problems impacting the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations. Examples of experience include: recommending solutions to administrative problems and issues; providing senior-level administrative program support to guide cross-directorate activities; training staff at all levels; providing leadership and expertise in organizing and planning workshops, conferences, and seminars; and arranging for appropriate guest speakers and making presentations. Experience refers to paid/unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) & other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, & skills & can provide valuable training/experience that translates directly to paid work. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education may enhance skills required for this position; however, no substitution of education for specialized experience may be made at this level.
