This position is located in Smithsonian Institution’s Office of Smithsonian Facilities (SF), Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR). The incumbent for this position serves under the general supervision of the Associate Director, Office of Facilities Management. The employee is responsible for providing expertise in facilities education and contracting techniques to best support Facility Management Academy (FMA) and the execution of FMA learning projects.

Qualifications
Experience:
GS:11: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 level in the Federal Service or comparable pay band system. For this position specialized experience is defined as identifying training objectives, recommending class design, providing classroom instructions, and preparing contracting paperwork for training.
Or Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M., related to the position.
