You will serve as a EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT in the Office of the Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer (DON CIO) of DONCHIEFINFORMO WASHINGTON DC. Salary Range GS-12 $94,199-122,459 /GS-13 $112,015-145,617 Must be within the commuting area of the position

Duties

You will brief senior leaders or managers on reference materials (e.g., directives, policy, reports, technical or legislative documents) for discussion in decision meetings. You will employ best business practices to improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of operations. You will create, schedule, and coordinate briefs to organizational leaders or visitors to communicate an organizational mission or objectives. You will advise managers on administrative matters (e.g., communications, correspondence, purchasing). You will draft correspondence to provide administrative information to others.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • This is a Department of Defense Cyber Workforce Framework Position (DCWF).

Qualifications

FOR GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Recommending and implementing solutions in order to assure office management best practices; Applying a wide range of methods to ensure program effectiveness; Applying administrative management and management analysis principles sufficient to ascertain problems and develop milestones; Working within military command structure to perform key administrative support functions within the DON, DoD, and other MILDEP CIO offices. FOR GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Identifying and proposing solutions to office management problems; Providing administrative support for special events (e.g. conferences, meetings, ceremonies, etc.); Evaluating and carrying out changes and strategies related to administrative processes and policies.
