About the Position: Serves as Executive Officer to the Deputy to Commanding General (DtCG), Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM/SCOE) and provides managerial and administrative support in the operation of assigned mission areas. Performs special studies and projects as directed by the Deputy Commanding General (DtCG) CASCOM/SCOE which cover complex program functions or missions.
Duties
Serves as Executive Officer to the Deputy to Commanding General (DtCG), Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM/SCOE).
Provides managerial and administrative support in the operation of assigned mission areas.
Coordinates activities as assigned at the executive level.
Works with all CASCOM/SCOE reporting elements to ensure accuracy and completeness of information and to access priorities before submission to the DtCG for use.
Monitors all incoming and outgoing distribution, providing the DtCG with only the information and requirements necessary for action and ensures all actions are handled by the appropriate organization or staff element.
Collected information must be organized in a logical and useful manner to enhance effective communication of the DtCG’s intent to the staff and other command elements.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing comprehensive strategies for day-to-day and long-range projects; providing advisory support on execution of Command group objectives; and conducting performance analysis in support of organizational initiatives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
