Duties

Lead Physical Scientist (Data Scientist) assisting Section Chief in oversight and execution of all relational database and data management development. Perform quality control and quality assurance reviews of relational databases and data management plans developed by others. Provide systems and programming services in connection with proposed database development or troubleshooting of engineering type computing systems. Plan and coordinate with multiple engineering and scientific disciplines to arrive at a mutually satisfactory approach and solution to complex problems. Develop relational database systems and data management plans for a variety of applications. Develop operating, testing, and implementation procedures to carry out system objectives. Provides direct assistance to the District GIS and CADD Program Managers.
