You will serve as a the EMALS/AAG Sustainment PROGRAM MANAGER in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, ALRE Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will be responsible for the execution of Sustainment for EMALS/AAG including IPT leadership, development and refinement of requirements with DoN, DoD and Warfighter stakeholders.
You will create the Sustainment annual budget and execute to meet benchmarks for obligations and expenditures: management of program risk; Issues, and Opportunities; and preparation for leadership reviews with PMA-251.
You will develop and promulgates detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders through the PPBE process.
You will lead program reviews, acquisition strategy and documentation efforts, installation efforts and manage contractors to meet program requirements and achieve fielding along with all required Sustainment ILS.
You will plan, lead and manage all resources for future Sustainment.
You will serve as the central point of contact within the program office for all matters concerning the program, and establish and maintain relationships both within the organization and with relevant external groups.
You will be responsible for all cost, schedule and performance management of all the programs and projects assigned under the Program Office.
You will coordinate and serve as a key advisor and member of the Program Office Leadership Team.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as liaison and representative in negotiations with other commands and offices of the Navy, DOD, other governmental agencies and private organizations on matters pertaining to the program; 2) Developing all required program acquisition documentation and briefings, in order to ensure all program requirements and milestones are coordinated with program leadership; 3) Directing the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure that all planning is fully integrated with the overall program team effort and that of any other participating services and agencies when necessary; 4) Developing and promulgating detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders through the PPBE process; 5) Applying the tools and techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement in addressing program management problems and issues.
