You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Undersea Weapons Department, Weapons In-Service Engineering Division, Weapons Logistics Support Branch (Code 323) of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties

You will assist in providing management, development, and maintenance of technical documentation and publications, configuration management, and supply support for lightweight and heavyweight torpedoes (MK 46, MK 48, MK 54, VLA) and MK 30 Targets. You will provide needed logistical management operations, integrating actions required of various activities into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of program plans. You will analyze, develop, review and assist administering technical data systems, management systems, financial systems, program plans and procedures. You will develop and document new procedures, investigate, evaluate, and recommend new or changed operations, procedures, plans, and functions. You will perform documentation development, maintenance, and validation work related to the execution phases of U.S. Navy and FMS Navy weapons and targets. You will determine impact of planned or newly accepted programs/projects with respect to resource availability and targeted work completion dates. You will interface with other Department of Defense (DOD) activities to explain NUWC Keyport's Logistics processes.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing logistics management operations to support the maintenance or configuration management of Naval weapon systems. For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing logistical support to assist with the maintenance or configuration management of Naval weapon systems. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

For GS-11: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.;
OR
Possession of an LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.

OR

For GS-09: Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree;
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D., in a field directly related to the position being filled.
