Duties
You will serve as the Graphic Design and Production, Visual Information, and Web/Electronic Media Design expert.
You will be responsible for developing, coordinating graphic design, and visual and electronic media products, and implementing a comprehensive visual information program in support of the Ted Stevens Center.
You will plan, design, and complete visual information projects, primarily in the form of print, electronic and social media publications, visual and electronic presentations, displays and exhibits.
You will plan, design, and complete other visual products aimed at communicating abstract concepts into clear, concise, and effective visual messages.
You will collaborate with various departments to ensure clear communication and implementation of visual products.
You will use a wide range of subject matter expertise, design ability, and communication skills in the execution of graphic design and production, visual information, and Web/electronic/social media projects.
You will meet with information management professionals and clients during the developmental stages of Web/electronic media and visual information projects to help define objectives, recommend solutions, and help determine appropriate methods.
You will provide expertise and advice in operating and maintaining a variety of audio-visual systems for use in classrooms, auditoriums, breakout group rooms, production studios, etc. for use in remote areas under Arctic conditions.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing visual design and audio-visual technical support, to include: graphic designs for presentations, classroom materials, documents, publications, electronic media, signage and displays, and other visual and print products, and providing technical expertise in all aspects of audio-visual media, including the selection, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems.
