Duties
As a Branch Chief Account Executive Team, you will:
- Responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the assigned team, including distribution and balancing of workload, tracking work progress and status, estimating and reporting on work completion, instructing the team in specific tasks and job techniques, responding to and assisting with technical issues and problems, reporting on work performance and training needs, and administering the gain and loss of employees.
- Responsible for performing tasks typically identified as supervisory in nature, including approving leave, assigning performance elements, and standards, and rating employees.
- Manage the efficient and effective coordination of evaluating new developments in the market place that could have a potential impact on the business and to enhance our business practices to adapt to market changes.
- Apply extensive knowledge to adjust the business strategy to adapt to changing market conditions.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience is 1 year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes:
- Leading or managing a team of employees and monitoring their progress towards achieving project goals and objectives; AND
- Coordinating and supporting a variety of housing asset management functions such as Project-Based Section 8, preservation of affordable housing, rental subsidy administration, risk management , and program compliance; AND
- Consulting with and providing technical assistance to program officials, residents, citizen groups, and Federal, state, or local government officials on a variety of federally assisted housing or affordable housing issues.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
