This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. The incumbent serves as the Visitor Services Coordinator at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum in Boston, Massachusetts. Under the general supervision of the Supervisory Visitor Services Specialist, the incumbent performs a variety of administrative and technical work in support of the Visitor Services to ensure positive customer experiences at the Library and Museum.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-07 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-06 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is described as: Planning, coordinating, supporting and/or implementing events such as meetings, conferences, or symposiums; AND Writing and releasing materials for public consumption (e.g., press releases, news releases, articles, official use of social media, etc.; AND Prepares reports for special programs and events. Specialized experience for the GS-06 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-05 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is described as: Planning, coordinating, supporting and/or implementing events such as meetings, conferences, or symposiums; AND Prepares reports for special programs and events.
