This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), National Security Division (NSD), Office of the Assistant Attorney General, Executive Office (EO), Operations, in Washington, DC. As an IT Specialist at full performance level you will perform duties such as: providing account management, troubleshooting of devices, and a variety of other tasks, performing hardware troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs, makes economical decisions regarding repair vs. replacement, and responding to customer inquiries.

Requirements

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Information Technology Specialist (CUSTSPT) at (GS-2210-12), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to. If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Basic Requirements per OPM Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the competencies below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Minimum Qualification: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 pay grade level or pay band within the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector or public sector: Working with more senior level IT specialists implementing systems updates, Troubleshooting hardware and software, OR Resolving customer IT issues.
