Duties

Serve as staff action officer for the Army Test and Evaluation Command organizations by managing the day-to-day coordination of organizational actions. Develop organizational plans based on areas such as workload, missions, functions, and resources. Execute the management functions in areas such as administration and personnel related to the accomplishment of the mission. Plan the Commander’s availability with items such as conferences, ceremonies, and meetings.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Official Temporary Duty (TDY) up to 15% of the time may be required.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.
  • You will be asked to sign an agreement acknowledging that you are aware of the obligation and willing to be displaced under reduction in force procedures upon the return of the former incumbent.
