This position is located at the VA Maryland Health Care System, Baltimore VAMC, The employee performs a variety of tasks involved in the maintenance of buildings. The duties are performed within at least two trades.
Duties
Major Duties may Include:
The Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks involved in maintaining buildings which require the performance of a variety of trade practices associated with the painting and architectural trades.
Performs standard coating methods such as brushing, rolling and spraying.
Replaces/repairs drywall, cove base, floor/wall tile, ceiling tiles, light bulbs, wall plates as well as other minor repairs.
Cleaning, replacing, packing and sealing defective parts of utility supply and disposal systems such as dirty traps, section of broken tile.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
