This position is located in the Office of the Under Secretary and Director. This exciting opportunity as an Executive Assistant is waiting for YOU IF:
Requirements

Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. OPM Qualifications Standards are available at Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series 0301.
Specialized Experienceis experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service.
Specialized experience for the GS-12: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
1. Assisting with the coordination and maintenance of administrative practices and procedures common to organizations, such as areas of responsibility, channels of communication, delegation of authority, routing of correspondence, filing systems and storage of files and records.
2. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain cooperative relationships with officials in Federal, state, or local government agencies and public and international entities.
3. Skill in written communications in order to write and interpret instructions to support implementation of higher echelon agency regulations, policies and procedures.
4. Skill to orally present status reports, special reports, and briefings on administrative processes and procedures to higher level management utilizing computer applications sufficient to prepare written reports, spreadsheets, statistical tables, and flow charts.
GS-13: Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
1. Coordinating and advising senior leaders of management or administrative practices and procedures common to organizations, such as areas of responsibility, channels of communication, delegation of authority, routing of correspondence, filing systems and storage of files and records.
2. Experience working collaboratively and maintaining cooperative relationships with officials in Federal, state, or local government agencies and public and international entities.
3. Skill in written communications in order to write, interpret and develop instructions to implement higher echelon agency regulations, policies and procedures.
4. Skill to orally present status reports, special reports, and briefings on various subjects to higher level management utilizing computer applications sufficient to prepare written reports, spreadsheets, statistical tables, and flowcharts.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Specialized experience may not be substituted for education at this grade level.
