You will serve as a COMMAND AND DOMAIN SECURITY MANAGER in the FORCE DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION DIVISION of NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND.

Duties

You will direct and plan the development, implementation and operation of the Security program coordinating with higher elements to include SECNAV and DUSN (Security). You will manage the domain Personnel Security Program in accordance with current laws, regulations and policies, and provide guidance on implementing and managing their security program. You will manage Information Security Program in accordance with current laws, regulations and policies and provides guidance on implementing and managing their security program. You will serve as the Industrial Security Program representative for matters pertaining to DOD contractors visiting and/or contracted to perform work for the organization. You will work in coordination with the Physical Security officer ensuring compliance with workspace and storage of classified or sensitive material.

  • This position is designated a Critical Sensitive Position. Incumbent must obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 5 investigation and eligibility for Top Secret.
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) must be obtained within two years from date of hire, promotion, reassignment, or placement into this position.
  • The incumbent may be recalled after hours in the event of Security or Naval Message issues.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing solutions to security problems; 2) Providing guidance to personnel on the use of the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (eQIP); 3) Validating classified material are maintained, couriered and secured in compliance with regulatory requirements; and 4) Developing security policies, procedures and programs in accordance with organization mission and objectives.
