This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
The incumbent will be responsible to the Chief, Visual Information Division, for ensuring division budget is accurate and all Government Purchase Card (GPC) actions are compliant and within regulatory guidance. Independently purchases supplies and equipment, tracks supplies and maintains inventory ensuring work streams have the necessary supplies to operate and support Agency mission.
Duties
As a Management Support Specialist at the GS-0301-12/13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Technical Point of Contact for visual information contracts making decisions in meetings with contracting officers, contractors and project sponsors ensuring adherence to regulations, schedules and designs for contract support for the division.
Manages a Government Purchase Card program (GPC) supporting a visual information mission with equipment and supplies.
Manages a Government Purchase Request program (GPO) supporting the Agency with outreach items to determine best cost option printing services.
Manages a budget for visual information including supplies and a five-year equipment plan.
Manages and oversees supplies supporting a visual information mission.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Utilizing management principles, organizational theory, qualitative and quantitative techniques of analysis and evaluation to measure efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of complex multi-mission programs.
Preparing and/or recommending the content of new or modified plans and courses of actions for programs and resources; and translating basic guidance into program goals, actions, and services.
Applying administrative regulatory requirements in areas such as: forms/records management, security administration, civilian personnel administration, and resources to maintain an efficient and effective organization.
Desired knowledge of visual information, programs, regulations, and management techniques/practices that ensure efficient and high-quality products to customers.
Extensive knowledge of files management including Agency Classified Document Control procedures and policies in order to prevent the disclosure of privileged or otherwise classified information to outside sources.
You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
Utilizing management principles, organizational theory, qualitative and quantitative techniques of analysis and evaluation to measure efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of complex multi-mission programs.
Performing administrative program support functions (e.g., Government Purchase Card, GPO, budget, procurement, Contracting), program operations (e.g., logistics and supply) and related policies to plan, direct, coordinate and execute mission-oriented projects and studies.
Using broad agency policies and objectives, prepares short and long range guidance.
Preparing and/or recommending the content of new or modified plans and courses of actions for programs and resources; and translating basic guidance into program goals, actions, and services.
Applying administrative regulatory requirements in areas such as: forms/records management, security administration, civilian personnel administration, and resources to maintain an efficient and effective organization.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
