This position serves as an IT Specialist (CUSTSPT/INFOSEC), located in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Service Delivery Staff (SDS), End-User Support Services (EUSS), in Washington, DC.

The duties and responsibilities as an IT Specialist (CUSTSPT/INFOSEC) GS-2210-13 generally include, but are not limited to the following:
Implements troubleshooting tools and techniques daily to correctly identify potential solutions to reported voice, mobility, web conferencing and telecommunications problems.
Analyzes and interprets data obtained from tickets, incidents, work orders, customer feedback.
Diagnoses and resolves problems in response to reported incidents; research, evaluates, and provides feedback on problematic trends and patterns in IT telecommunications support requirements.
Performs the necessary planning, preparation, and testing to ensure enterprise computer systems are available to execute emergency communications software applications.
Serves as a primary Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for multiple service contracts to manage and oversee contract performance and ensure adherence to deliverables.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of IT Specialist (CUSTSPT/INFOSEC) at (GS-2210-13), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade.
Basic Qualifications (2210 series):
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
AND
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
Assists with diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents, customer support tickets, works orders, and customer feedback; AND
Knowledgeable in Information Security and emergency communications software applications; AND
Managing IT projects and resolving critical problems related to information technology operations, infrastructure management and information security management; AND
Performing infrastructure support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service support for Information Technology (IT) applications such as database, and telecommunication systems.
