You will serve as an EDUCATION TECHNICIAN (OA) in the LEADERSHIP, ETHICS, AND LAW DEPARTMENT of NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will maintain file management databases for staff and students.
You will compile information or educational material in support of an education program.
You will answer inquiries of general nature regarding training to students, instructors, and other staff members.
You will verify and correlate data to support budget preparation, planning, or justification related to training functions.
You will compose correspondence using proper spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
GS-07 Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Displaying a keen understanding of the US Naval Academy's rules, regulations, and guidelines of higher education objectives while assisting educators by performing data analysis on various topics related to educational programs and the Brigade of Midshipmen; 2) Performing teaching load and space availability analysis to assist educators in scheduling faculty and classrooms, including courses taught during the academic periods of the day, and additional evening instruction and lectures; 3) Performing assignments involving the collection, analysis, and reporting of data for budget preparation; and 4) Receiving and handling a variety of administrative documents supporting course offerings, faculty and staff awards and schedules, and purchase card holding.
GS-06 Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Displaying an adequate understanding of the US Naval Academy's rules, regulations, and guidelines of higher education objectives; 2) Assisting with scheduling faculty and classrooms for day and evening lectures; 3) Performing data collection to aid in budget preparation; and 4) Receiving and handling a variety of administrative documents supporting course offerings, faculty and staff awards and schedules, and purchase card holding.
