About the position: This position will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation on Eglin Air Force Base.
This announcement is posted for a 2-week period, however qualified applicants will be referred each week until the close of this announcement or until the position is filled.
Duties
Types of duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Tests water-skiing and boating equipment for safe operation; demonstrates safety and conservation techniques for campsites, water sports and beach areas; demonstrates equipment and techniques of various outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and boating; inspects outdoor recreation facilities and equipment for security and general conditions; and schedules campsites, cabins, boats, and other outdoor recreation equipment and areas for use, with responsibility for seeing that they are vacated or returned in good order. Collects use fees, receives funds from resale operations, performs inventory and cash handling duties in accordance with established cash handling and accountability procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have experience which provided a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, rules and procedures in a recreational program activity which has involved recreation work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned.
