This position serves as a Supervisory IT Program Manager supporting eLitigation and Data Governance located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), National Security Division (NSD), Executive Office (EO), Information Technology Management (ITM) Staff, eLitigation and Data Services (EDS) Team in Washington, DC. The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to coordinate the Department's efforts in carrying out its core mission of combating terrorism and protecting national security.

This role executes these duties via policies, procedures, operations, knowledge management, and innovation. This position serves as a senior expert and consultant to the NSD Chief Information Officer (CIO) to advice on Data Management and Information Sharing under eLitigation and Data Services.The duties and responsibilities for this Supervisory IT Program Manager position include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a recognized expert in the field of electronic litigation and data governance as the Chief of eLitigation and Data Services.
Manage the technology components of legal cases for the life of the matter; advises legal teams on e-Discovery and case technology best practices; develops and manages analysis and review of workflows, taking time frames into account, and establishes procedures and safeguards to ensure the integrity of the process.
Perform program evaluation and provides advice on revisions to existing policies and programs to meet requirements.
Serve as Information System owner of related systems and Contracting Officer Representative on related contracts.
Implement automation approaches and data architecture programs that lead to improvements in NSD's administration of high-quality information system services that support achievement of core agency mission requirements, maximizing the use of agency data.
Supervise a team consisting of Litigation Support Specialists and oversees contractors in technical oversight and responsibilities necessary for accomplishing the work of the eLitigation and Data Services team.
Requirements

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory IT Program Manager at (GS-2210-15), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.
If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the competencies below:

Minimum Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing litigation technology programs (i.e. Eclipse, Relativity, Everlaw, NUIX) OR data management programs to develop strategies on the use of large sets of data.
