You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Test Execution Branch within the Expeditionary Systems Engineering Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, located in Fallbrook, CA.
Duties
You will provide hazard analysis, risk assessment and analysis and risk mitigation.
You will develop methodologies to facilitate improvements in cost, schedule and quality relative to test logistics.
You will coordinate and negotiate formal and informal agreements with other activities across all four services for test and evaluation operations.
You will communicate with managers, employees, and external contacts, at all levels and from all military departments and agencies.
You will negotiate and definitize project logistics expectations regarding specific and complex tasks.
You will develop strategic plans for the division's test logistics health and future.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You may be required to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 25 pounds in weight.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing new logistics management procedures to support test and evaluation events for a combat and weapon systems and/or explosives operations program.
