You will serve as a in Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-12 in the Sustainment Group, Weapons Maintenance Sustainment Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will be responsible for the Navy and Marine Corps Mobile Maintenance Facilities (MMF) Program.
You will provide technical oversight for the planning, management, and delivery of configured mobile facilities and associated ancillary equipment in support of Navy and Marine Corps aviation units.
You will provide the resources and logistics processes required for the integrated planning, management, and delivery of internally configured mobile facilities and associated ancillary equipment in support of Navy and Marine Corps aviation units.
You will ensure the configuration of the mobile facilities meets the customer’s requirements to perform aircraft maintenance, supply support, operational functions, metrology requirements, and other support applications.
You will be responsible for Conventional Ordnance Performance Evaluation (COPE) Program provides NAVAIR with performance data on conventional (air-to-ground) ordnance.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or equivalent pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following:
Developing logistic planning for existing and planned (new) missile systems; drafting Statements of Work (SOW), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and detailed cost estimates (material, shipping, labor, etc.) for ordnance maintenance; providing logistics data management (collection, data integrity, monitoring, analysis, data and interpretation, scheduling, and theater transportation) in support of NARF maintenance supporting multiple weapons; planning and preparing of the daily/monthly/quarterly work schedules; providing required financial data to establish budgetary support of future workload requirements, including researching vendors.
