You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS & INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS GROUP of FLTREADCEN EAST as the H-60 FST Technical Directive Coordinator.
Duties
You will exercise independent decision making in areas of program logistics support as delegated by the PSM/APM:L and Fleet Support Team (FST) Leader.
You will determine the impact on Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements, identifies ILS requirements to support the proposed changes and ensure the ILS requirements are properly addressed and are consistent with program constraints.
You will be responsible for execution of logistics policy, processes and tools for Technical Directives (TD).

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialize experience: 1) Expert knowledge of Technical Directive concepts, requirements, and processes as identified in policy; partnership with cohorts and engineers, develops technical directives (bulletins, changes, etc) to ensure the Integrated Product Support (IPS) requirements are properly addressed; 2) Technical knowledge of all 12 product support elements; 3) Understanding of both acquisition & sustaining logistics; 4) Demonstrating ability to apply supply support concepts and theories; 5) Broad practical logistics knowledge of the aircraft weapon system & subsystems to evaluate maintenance plans & to evaluate the effectiveness of weapon systems logistics support.
