Duties
The Incumbent will analyze management techniques, processes and styles for improving organizational effectiveness.
Develops reporting procedures, sampling techniques, and measurements at various points in the transaction process to identify problem areas or inherent weakness in work processes, procedures, information systems and content.
Responsible for coordinating, planning and implementing training activities for MAXIMO packages related to but not limited to FMS.
Oversees the MAXIMO system to include but not limited to data entry, training staff, work orders, preventative maintenance, and maintenance to the MAXIMO system, along with updates, upgrades, system problem solving, reports, and tracking data.
Utilize MAXIMO and other software packages to provide management with clear concise ad-hoc reports. The incumbent serves as the service reference.
Serve as the FMS Maximo subject matter expert, working with other services within the hospital, inclusive of other VAMCs.
Develops programs to insure that quality provisions are planned, developed and implemented to identify, prevent unsatisfactory conditions and elements which influence the regulatory correctness and responsiveness of transactions and services.
Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports such as PM, CM, Critical Equipment etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: M-F 6:00am -2:30pm, 6:30am- 3:00pm, 7:00am- 3:30pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 10/02/2023.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.

Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-09 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: responsible for the overall set up, data analysis, programing and report generation of Maximo packages for the day to day planning; monitoring, coordination and directing a variety of operational issues and concerns as they relate to facilities management section, extensive knowledge of government programs and procedures, acquisitions, budgeting, Joint Commission requirements, database management, providing technical support to all supervisors within the service in coordinating, testing and monitoring operations of specialized programs. Developing reporting procedures, sampling techniques, and measurements at various points in the transaction process to identify problem areas or inherent weakness in work processes, preparing timecards, knowledge and use of the VISTA system; preparing recruitment documents, processing and sponsoring PIV request, coordinating new employee onboarding, attending daily meetings, providing updates for various types of reports. Note: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title, duties, month and year start/end dates AND hour worked per week.

Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a Ph.D or equivalent degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Physical demands require walking, sitting, bending and lifting items not in excess of 50 lbs. The incumbent may be required to perform duties at various campuses (Brevard, Kissimmee, Sanford and Orlando).
The work is primarily performed in an office setting. However, visits to various sections will be required which will often expose incumbent to patients and clinical settings.
