This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Enterprise Architecture (EA) Division.
Duties
Serves as an Enterprise Architect (EA) in the Director, Enterprise Architecture (EA) Division for Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), U. S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
The EA establishes governances, standards, and processes that will facilitate the sharing and exchange of enterprise information while improving business and IT services inter and intra agencies stakeholders.
Serves as a technical specialist in the planning and coordinating, maintenance, and upgrade of enterprise software and related enterprise-level changes to an IT infrastructure.
Assess and determines the need for augmented EA policies and procedures, implement changes, and ensures EA compliance across OJP.

Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include:
Planning and/or managing enterprise architectural improvement initiatives.
Resolving emerging issues impacting the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and subsystems, including configuration matters.
Planning and/or managing IT projects involving interrelated technology specialty areas and multiple stages of the systems development lifecycle.
Planning and/or coordinating the implementation of agency process improvement methods and concepts to improve the quality of software products.
