Duties
This position is located under the Office of the Director, Office of Strategic Management in Washington, District of Columbia.
This position serves as a Management Analyst within the Office of Strategic Management (OSM), Office of the Director, responsible for developing, implementing, managing, evaluating, coordinating, and providing oversight for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives strategic management processes and methodologies including agency lever performance metrics.
Qualifications
To qualify for 14, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Examples of specialized experience include:
Coordinating strategic management processes, collecting, analyzing and reporting performance data; AND
Utilizing performance metrics to assess and evaluate progress towards achieving strategic performance goals; AND
Implementing operational and or policy studies and other projects; AND
Performing broad program reviews, studies, audits, analyses of information and reports and overseeing and monitoring programs: AND
Understanding workplace flexibilities, rules, and regulations in order to analyze and develop recommendations for improvements to the program mission areas, operations and objectives; AND
Writing in-depth reports, analysis of issues, policies, and programs.
