The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the availability, control, and distribution of technical orders throughout the Maintenance Group and to provide Group level functional and system administrative assistance to users of the Enhanced Technical Information Management Systems (ETIMS).
Duties
Assist ETIMS site deployment point of contact (POC).
Establish and/or update Group ETIMS User Profiles. Assists organizations users to establish/modify ETIMS routing templates.
Assists ETIMS Level 2 Help Desk to resolve user-reported problems.
Performs work involving the ordering, receiving, distributing and posting technical orders in the Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS). Performs general office administrative duties.
Maintains the 55 MXG main technical order library, maintenance operating instructions, and publications ensuring indexes are properly annotated, kept current, and that obsolete publications are removed as necessary.

- Some night and/or weekend duty will be necessary to fulfill requirements.
- Shift work may also be required. Incumbent is also subject to call during non-duty hours to fulfill emergency requirements. Incumbent may also be required to work an uncommon shift while on duty. Incumbent may also be required to go TDY.
- May be required to perform mobility augmentee tasks for wing exercises and inspections
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes providing technical order and maintenance support; serving as functional administrator for Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS) and providing users with training on client applications; developing and documenting ETIMS Routing templates; identifying and assisting with resolving problems with ETIMS or E-Tool systems; and reviewing outgoing and incoming correspondence for procedural and grammatical accuracy, conformance with administrative requirements, and factual correctness.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of Technical Order documentation; procurements procedures; filling procedures; distribution procedures; and subject matter content of the material sufficient to classify, retrieve, distribute, conduct searches, and dispose of materials.
2. Knowledge of e-Tools fundamentals. To include certificate/Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) installation, Air Force Center for Electronic Distribution of System (AFCEDS) functions.
3. Knowledge of the ETIMS Security Standard Operating Procedures (JSSOP) and the ETIMS Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
4. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets. database and graphs.
5. Knowledge to assess ETIMs system user problems, identify user error or system issue and ability to correct user error issues. Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and how it is used to update user systems.
6. Ability to understand and perform instructional/ training concepts and applications to users.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
