The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary point of contact to the command's Chief of Targets/Division Chief and Deputy Division Chief for all administrative support programs.

Duties
Directly assists the Chief of Targets in the management of assigned administrative support program functions.
Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel directorate on military and civilian personnel issues.
Assists in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.
Receives telephone calls, greets visitors, and ascertain nature of calls or visits.
Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Qualifications
This is a GG-08 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-08 duties for the "Technician/Administrative Support" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-08 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge of a body of standardized rules, procedures, or operations requiring considerable training and experience to perform the full range of standard clerical and non-clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems; and the skill, acquired through considerable training and experience, to operate and adjust varied equipment for purposes such as performing numerous standardized tests or operations. Note: Creditable experience may include pervious military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization. Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively (both orally and in writing), using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
3. Knowledge of structure, programs, and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.
4. Knowledge of office functions and commitments of supervisor and staff to prepare and review correspondence, to screen telephone calls and visitors, and to perform other substantive or administrative work of the organization.
5. Knowledge of rules, procedures, or operations to perform administrative work of the office, such as preparing files/records, making and preparing travel arrangements, locating, assembling and composing information for various reports, inquiries, and nontechnical correspondence.
6. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems. Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
