About the Position: This position is with Headquarters, US Army Corps of Engineers (HQ USACE), Directorate of Human Resources, Washington, DC; Five Duty Locations. Salary and the location will be determined upon selection. This position will be filled on a permanent basis.

Duties

Serves as staff level representative with the Organization, program proponents, and Civilian Personnel Advisory Centers (CPACs), to provide recommendations, and to maintain currency of program developments, laws, regulations, and procedures. Performs formal on-site review of HR operations using staff team members to evaluate program effectiveness, timeliness, and conformance with policies and directives. Serves as an advisor on all human resources management/administration issues within the Division. Recommends to the Director changes to existing DA, OPM, and the Organization's policies and regulations necessary to accomplish a sound and responsible program. Participates in the development of comprehensive HR programs in consonance with policies and directives of higher authorities.
