You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the General Equipment Branch, Property Management Division, Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARCENACT DAM NECK VA.
This NT-05 pay band position is part of Warfare Center's Personnel Demonstration Project and GS-13/14 equivalent.
Duties
You will serve as the General Equipment Functional Lead and the Organizational Property Administrator.
You will serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for managing General Equipment property in the agency's Accountable Property System of Record, to include training and communicating with property custodians, and defining and documentation.
You will assist with property determination to ensure tangible property is properly identified at point of procurement for cradle-to-grave property life cycle and financial management.
You will review data and analyze to determine process improvement efforts and make recommendations.
You will communicate with all levels of management to effectively work in a team environment with government, military and contractor personnel advising others based on your knowledge of material and asset management processes and policies.
You will advise others based on your knowledge of DoD and DoN property management policies and regulations.
You will plan and execute property inventories and report property metrics on a monthly or as-needed basis.

Qualifications
FOR NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying analytical and evaluative methods to oversee the development and management of administrative and operational functions in the execution of business operations related to property or equipment management.
