You will serve as a INSTALLATION PLANS PROGRAMS AND READINESS INTEGRATOR at NAS KEY WEST.

Duties

You will oversee the revision of long range plans, goals, and objectives for the work of an organization. You will develop implementation plans that consider personnel, budget, manpower, and other management requirements. You will implement business policies and processes for stewardship of critical resources (e.g., people, money, equipment, research and development facilities) to accomplish an organizational mission. You will analyze reports to make recommendations for improvements to program policies. You will attend meetings and conferences to participate in the development of policy.

Requirements

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • Overtime on weekends sometimes required

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Develop comprehensive plans, strategies and policy that drive internal and external integration of programs and activities in support of higher echelon goals and objectives; 2) Integrate short and long range planning and execution of installation programs, financial, manpower and personnel readiness, operations and program performance; 3) Analyze program performance data to make recommendations for improvement and drive innovative solutions; and 4) Apply fact-finding and work measurement techniques, data collection, and analysis, including statistical analysis measurements to conduct studies.
