The Management and Program Analyst serves as a lead on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) initiatives and as an advisor and action officer on other high-priority AHR and Agency-wide initiatives for the FAA Office of Human Resource Management (AHR). The Lead supports the implementation of the FAA’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan and other DEIA initiatives internal to AHR and across the FAA.

Duties

Applies experience and expert knowledge of program management, analysis, and evaluation of DEIA and AHR initiatives and activities to leading training recommendations for the AHR and FAA workforce, and other strategies for attracting, engaging, and retaining a diverse population of qualified employees. Applies knowledge of FAA's policies and objectives to identify, define, and organize resources for large projects/programs/work activities. Acquires and allocates resources to accomplish activities within established schedules and budgetary requirements.

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience-Experience leading or supporting administrative programs such as DEIA initiatives at the LOB/SO or Agency level;-Experience presenting clear and concise information through various mediums to a targeted audience, including executives and senior management to provide concise and impactful briefings on projects, challenges, and accomplishments;-Experience preparing and delivering on fast-moving projects with little direction;-Experience demonstrating an agile work style that can adjust to changes in priorities based on AHR Chief of Staff, AHR Assistant Administrator, FAA Deputy Administrator, DOT Secretary, or White House initiatives.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
