This position serves as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (PLCY/PLN), located in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Cybersecurity Services Staff (CSS), Policy, Audit, and Administration (PAA), in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of this position is to perform assigned functions in the following Policy, Audit and Administration Sections: Policy Audit, and Compliance (PAC) and Cybersecurity Shared Services Program (CSSP).

The duties and responsibilities as an IT Cybersecurity Specialist (PLCYPLN) GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for enforcing, monitoring, and assessing the effectiveness of the Assessment and Authorization, Information System Continuous Monitoring (ISCM), and Authorization to Operate programs.
Responsible for managing the Cybersecurity Shared Services Program (CSSP) by standardizing and formalizing processes, cost model, and marketing materials.
Manages the Cybersecurity Training program, which includes the Department's Enterprise Cybersecurity awareness annual training.
Provide short term project management to include design, implementation, and support for application and network.
Manages and ensures contractors assigned to projects fully execute their responsibilities and align with the requirements of their contract.
Requirements

- This position requires the candidate to obtain a Federal Acquisition Certificate for Contracting Officers Representative (FAC-COR) and/or Federal Acquisition Certificate for Program Manager (FAC-PM) within 12 months of appointment.

- This position requires the candidate to be able to hold a security clearance at the Top Secret / SCI security level.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position of IT Cybersecurity Specialist (PLCY/PLN) at (GS-2210-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade.

Basic Qualifications (2210 series):

AND
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is defined as:
Providing technical or professional IT advice and recommendations to customers; AND
Planning, analyzing, designing, and testing the installation, implementation, integration, maintenance and/or management of Cybersecurity related systems; AND
Managing IT projects and resolving critical problems related to network operation and information security.
