About the Position: Serves as the Senior Program Analyst in the Business Management Directorate (BMD), Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC).
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Student Loan Repayment-May be authorized.
Duties
Develop and formulates the fiscal requirements in support of assigned programs for the coming fiscal year.
Prepare a variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations as required.
Plan, analyze, and prepare the annual funding requirements which consists of major and minor programs.
Assist and coordinate preparation of monthly Funding Execution Review and Analysis, reviews content for accuracy and validity.
Recommend and assist in the adjustment of the Annual Work Plan, program objectives, and funding programs to accommodate engineering changes, requirements changes and programming directives.
Monitor progress of payments, and compares with plans, informing supervisor of any major deviations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Financial Management Certification Level 2 in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management within 2 years of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) security clearance.

Specialized experience for the Program Analyst, GS-12:To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: performing budget functions involving formulation, justification, and planning to support execution of programs; executing analysis of financial and budgetary requirements for program support; providing recommendations that affect the level of funding required to meet program objectives; and conducting studies, evaluations, and analyses of reports/data to support mission operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
