This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent enables the Deputy Directorate, Cyber and C4 Integration operations and mission by ensuring continuity of operations, project executions, network infrastructure, cyberspace network defense by complying and aligning with Joint Staff and Department of Defense mission.
Duties
As a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/SYSANALYSIS) at the GS-2210-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assess and Authorize (A&A) expert technical advisor to the C3OD2 Engineering Branch Chief and the C3OD2 Division Chief.
Administers and monitors C3OD2's implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Provides guidance to and exercises technical control over subordinate Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) and DCO engineers within C3OD2 as it pertains to C3OD2 networks and systems.
Reviews risk assessments and analyzes impact of potential vulnerabilities. Reviews and validates security control data in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system.
Supports planning, execution, and reporting on demonstrations, tests, and assessments of cyber and C4 technology and capabilities.
Ensures compliance with applicable DoD, National Security Agency, USCYBERCOM, and JS cybersecurity policies and procedures.

- Incumbent is subject to removal from the CSWF position if the member fails to attain the required certification or maintain the certification if already qualified IAW DoD 8140 and DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF).
- Desired certifications include: CISSP, CISM and CEH.
- This is a Cyber Excepted Service position.
Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS -14 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Knowledge of Department of Defense directives, Federal Information System Management Act, National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), and the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) policy and regulations pertaining to Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Makes specific recommendations and solutions to reduce IT security risks, develops plans, projects, and strategies for future IT security.
Advises / briefs Senior leadership on cybersecurity posture of systems.
