This position is located at River Cove Community Center in support of the Bingo Operation which is part of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department aboard Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida.

Duties

Performs assigned duties and provides necessary services to authorized patrons, including general information and support of bingo programs. May assist in maintaining routine reports and/or perform clerical, custodial and/or general maintenance duties as needed. Is accountable for the accuracy of daily sales transactions and completes a Daily Activity Report (DAR) at the end of every shift. Provides customer service by greeting patrons in person and by answering the telephone; takes messages and handles customer requests or referrals to the appropriate staff member. Performs administrative duties, all of which are accomplished through a variety of means, including computer software programs which track resource inventories. Provides assistance in handling customer complaints, involving management as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a current Naval Air Station Jacksonville Morale, Welfare and Recreation employee at time of applying to be considered.
• Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.

• May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
• Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.

Qualifications

Must have analytical ability to reconcile cards sold. Candidates must be available to work; days, nights, weekends and holidays as the bingo program operates in non-traditional business hours.
