You will serve as a AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST in the AIRTEVRON-31 DUST DEVILS of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will serve as a Configuration Management Technician at VX-31 for all unique RDT and E project test and evaluation installations/configurations on the VX-31 Fighter Attack and Electronic Warfare aircraft inventory.
You will review contractor maintenance reports, review contractor maintenance reports, conduct unscheduled periodic inspections, trend analysis, observe cleanliness and general maintenance practices and provide surveillance data.
You will coordinate activities on the aircraft complement to ensure timely project execution.
You will review and ensure compliance with written procedures to include government operating procedures, work/maintenance instructions, quality/safety procedures, etc.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
DS-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DS-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) experience; 2) Developing new standards and specifications for use in the evaluative control of configurations associated with an aircraft; 3) Reviewing and ensuring compliance with written procedures including government operating procedures, work/maintenance instructions, quality/safety procedures, etc.; 4) Coordinating aircraft inspections and scheduled maintenance actions for short- and long-term planning and coordinating with contractor management to set priorities to meet production deadlines; and 5) Providing surveillance for contract maintenance relating to on-aircraft inspections and scheduled program audits.
DS-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DS-02) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) experience; 2) Assisting in developing new standards and specifications for use in the evaluative control of configurations associated with an aircraft; 3) Assisting in reviewing compliance with written procedures including government operating procedures, work/maintenance instructions, quality/safety procedures, etc; and 4) Assisting in coordinating aircraft inspections and scheduled maintenance actions for short and long term planning and coordinates with contractor management to set priorities to meet production deadlines.

master's or equivalent graduate degree

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
