his is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Business and Technical Management Career Path to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the CECOM, Software Engineering Center (SEC) Army Shared Services Center (Army SSC), the Incumbent will develop SAP Security solutions for SAP access assignments across multiple applications

Duties

Develop new SAP role access and coordinate the documentation, approval, testing, and peer review for new or newly modified SAP Security access. Develop SAP Security solutions for SAP access assignments across multiple applications (Business Objects, CAMS, BW, SCM, EWM, etc.) Support the creation and maintenance of SAP Service marketplace accounts and authorizations. Develop and maintain SAP Security processes, procedures, and policies to manage SAP users and access. Schedule and coordinate risk determination workshops to develop effective GRC rules and document the identified risks and translate into the GRC rule sets. Provide reports and metrics on SAP Security role assignments and log on data as requested by program management.

Requirements

  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for certification in the Acquisition Career Field Engineering and Technical Management within 36 months of entrance on duty.
  • Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 60% of the time.
  • This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
  • This is a Defense Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) position as outlined in DoDD 8140.01 - Cyberspace Workforce Management, Encl 2, Par 9(c)(d).
  • Commensurate with mission requirements, the incumbent can be required to work irregular duty hours to include working nights, weekends, and holidays.

AND Specialized experience: Specialized and Other Experience is equivalent to the NH-02 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Monitoring the System Applications and Products (SAP) as a Security analyst, recognizing authority responsible for SAP Security/Program area; 2) Develop, evaluate and/or design system software configurations needed to support SAP applications and customized integration of business computer systems; 3) Support system migration coordination and status reporting by tracking regular maintenance activities, orchestrating annual system outages, and maintaining operational tempo and awareness of program priorities and deliverables; 4) Coordinate with landscape architects to ensure adequate planning for an SAP system landscape to supports all phases of the deployment (i.e. development, testing, training, data load, and go-live); 5) Developing and/or delivering informational briefs through various reporting mechanisms such as scorecards, schedules, and workshops to convey project readiness, risk situation, and work effort progress to customers, leaders, and partners. This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 10 base salary. Education cannot be substituted for experience.
