You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST (NUCLEAR) in the Head Nuclear Engineer Office (Code 2309) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on, or improve the effectiveness of operational and work processes and initiatives , manpower utilization and control, organizational and staffing structures, workload and manpower projections, etc.
You will manage a variety of special projects or other ad hoc assignments such as assessing the financial "health" of the organization; serve on Process Improvement Teams and respond to critiques, audits and other inquiries.
You will work requirements by setting deadlines, sequences of operations and standards of quality and quantity and work methods.
You will act as the Nuclear Critique and Incident Report Process Administrator for the entire Shipyard.
You will maintain, review and analyze the master copies of the Nuclear Power Manual (NPM) chapters and Corporate NPM chapters for the Shipyard.
You will administer the document control system which assures that the latest approved nuclear technical work documents (TWDs) are used in reactor plant work to support the objective quality evidence that work has been performed properly.
You will act as a liaison between the Comptroller Department and the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department to coordinate all budget planning with division heads.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Work may be performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You may be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating (using qualitative and quantitative techniques) Shipyard programs; extracting information from various sources to assist in the preparation of reports, directives, etc.; and conveying information about Shipyard rules, regulations and procedures to management in order to support the organization's mission.
