You will serve as a DEPUTY EXECUTIVE OFFICER in the SEAL Team THREE (ST-3) of COMMODORE SPECIAL WARFARE GRP ONE.
Duties
You will serve as the primary source of continuity for ST-3 and is responsible for the effective and efficient administration of the staff’s day-to-day operations.
You initiate the development and/or modification of business practices as necessary to ensure sound management practices are utilized to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
You will advise the Commanding Officer on evolving issues, concerns, deficiencies, etc, that impact ST-3’s ability to fully meet its mission and provides courses-of-action to mitigate the impact.
You will develop, manage, and ensure execution surveillance of the SEAL Team budget formulation and execution.
You will oversees the technical/acquisition/research and development and programmatic efforts of the Command.
You will provide oversight of the Integrated Risk Management Program (IRM) and is responsible for Command Inspections from ISIC and other CNO special interest areas.
You will lead development strategy, articulates, and implements Knowledge Management (KM) Policy, Programs and Concepts for ST-3.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing highly complex operational and administrative support functions supporting SEAL Team activities (e.g. financial policy, human capital management, security and safety, operations, facility infrastructure, logistics, information technology operations, budget, and procurement and equal employment opportunity) for current and future requirements and capabilities.
