This position is located in the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR), Resource Management Section of the FDIC and provides administrative support on a broad range of human resource management operations services at the Division level.

Duties
Serves as primary technical advisor to groups engaged in determining the need for new administrative policies or procedures or the adequacy of existing policies or procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing advice, administrative assistance, and guidance related to: 1) personnel management policies and procedures specific to recruitment, placement, classification, performance management, and staffing; and 2) program areas specific to conference planning, space planning, and facilities requests; and 3) the use of automated systems to query information and develop reporting tools used for management decision-making.
