You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SAPA/PMA 226 FST Logistics Management Integration Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will be responsible for the direction of the total logistics effort of the Program Office.
You will provide Logistics guidance and oversight to assigned logisticians ensuring technically sound decisions and direction.
You will ensure the coordination of significant and critical tasks.
You will be responsible for enforcing all logistics policies, procedures, priorities, budgeting, fiscal execution and evaluation of the decentralized logistics management efforts.
You will serve as the NAVAIR program spokesperson and advocate regarding logistics program matters.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and implementing a comprehensive logistics support strategy for engine programs; 2) Developing contracts documents (such as Statements of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements Listings (CDRL); 3) Managing and directing the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support as it relates engine programs; 4) Providing logistics guidance and oversight to assigned logisticians ensuring technically sound decisions.
