About the Position: This position is located at the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC).

Duties

Make written and oral presentations to report status and make recommendations. Study internal and external reporting and applicable directives to ascertain their accuracy necessity, and conformance with reporting procedures, and recommends actions required to correct deficiencies. Hear and resolve complaints from employees and refers grievances to higher supervision, effects disciplinary measures as necessary. Manage the maintenance of the local inventory management automated and manual systems. Review and analyze workload data and operational processing to evaluate the validity, reliability, and practicability of work methods and standards.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Qualifications

Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of 8 years. Army employees who accept a time-limited appointment (to include employees with personal competitive status) will be separated at the end of the time-limited appointment date if the Not-to-Exceed (NTE) date is not extended. There are no return/reemployment rights to the position vacated prior to accepting the time-limited appointment.
