Duties

Administer equipment status and accountability of Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE), Real Property and Facilities. Primary Key Custodian for all of the organization. Responsible for coordination of ordering commercial off-the-shelf items in support of industrial operations. Gather data necessary to support both Equipment Status and Life Cycle planning and make recommendations to senior management to determine execution requirements. Enter data such as descriptions of machine tools, descriptive characteristics, permit requirements, spill plan requirements, etc. into appropriate databases. Certify payments for IPE in accordance with associated contracts. Coordinate facilities and equipment maintenance, repairs and modifications utilizing available resources (e.g. Public Works, organization maintenance department or internal department capabilities). Document and report discrepancies in inventory in order to maintain security and safety within the facility.

Minimum qualifications and one year of specialized training and/or experience that must be MET to be minimally qualified at the next lower grade level. It is NOT to be used as the highly qualifying criteria to describe the level of the position being filled.
