About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Cyber Center of Excellence, Fort Eisenhower, GA.

Duties

Serves as the senior tasking advisor to the Lead logistics management specialist for the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE) G4. Review and analyze tasking data and provides staff management oversight for equipment tasking, training tasking and facility tasking for orders affecting CCOE. Serves as G4 point of contact for force modernization fielding coordinator. Determines causes for problems, delays, etc., and coordinates planning and performance of corrective action. Assist the School, staff, and directorates with the Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL). Provide guidance for accountability of Installation and Organizational property; to include durable, expendable, and nonexpendable.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience and/or education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by assisting the G4 Lead Logistics Management Specialist to manage the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) in accordance with Army Regulations (ARs) 710-2 and 735-5; conducting CSDP inspections on a 6 month and 12 month basis for both unit and parent activities, respectively; providing staff advice and assistance to CCoE units on matters pertaining to the CSDP; monitoring Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) equipment input; coordinating on a recurring basis with TRADOC, project management team and other agencies to receive disposition instructions of excess and unserviceable equipment for our supported activities; receiving and reviewing electronic files to assess the equipment readiness posture of the school and subordinate organizations; assisting CCoE and subordinate units with the Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL); providing guidance for accountability of Installation and Organizational property, to include durable, expendable, and nonexpendable. reviewing policy and provide recommendations for plans and procedures and standard operation procedures (SOP) for property accountability; reviewing and providing input and feedback on all Program of Instruction (POI), Individual Training Plan (ITP) for the CCoE as they relate to expendable property, durable property, non-expendable property, facilities, and other supplies and materiel to ensure that the most updated equipment are being used for training. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
