About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence - G4 Procurement Division at Fort Eisenhower, Georiga.
Duties
Serves as the Deputy G4 developing command concepts, doctrine, policy, programs, methods, and plans for maintenance, supply, contracts, engineering, and transportation support for the Command.
Plans, organizes, assigns, directs, and evaluates the work of assigned military and civilian personnel. Develops, manages and defends an office budget and develops the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) requirements for logistics support.
Directs major programs and projects involving development of concepts, doctrine, and broad policies applicable to the Command's logistics activities.
Serves as the Commands Career Program (CP) Manager for the Maintenance Management (CP-17), the Supply Management (CP-13), Transportation (CP- 24) and Contracting/Procurement (CP-14) Career Programs.
Monitors and reviews actions and status of force integration pertaining to communications and information networks, systems, and equipment, both tactical and non-tactical.
Directly responsible for EEO/AA program implementation, and the most effective and efficient use of human resources.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI).
- Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military Affairs Desk Officer (MADO) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
- Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
- A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed
- This is a Mission-Essential (ME) position and is occupied by an agency designated Emergency employee. You will be expected to report to or remain at your worksite during dismissal or closure situations.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by (1) Developing command concepts, doctrine, policy, programs, methods, and plans for maintenance, supply, contracts, engineering, and transportation support of the Command's standard (2) Oversee programs and projects involving development of concepts, doctrine, and broad policies applicable to the Command's logistics activities. (3) Assisting with the implementation of supply, maintenance, troop support and other logistics operations in support of war, emergency, and contingency plans, and (4) Providing advisory on supply and maintenance doctrine and policies within the command.
