Duties
As a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serving as the assistant to the Deputy Director, and exercises coordinating and directive authority on behalf of the Deputy Director for developing, implementing, and managing execution of policy, direction, plans, standards, and instructions.
Coordinates the actions of the divisions and their branches, and coordinates operations and actions internal and external to the Deputy Directorate Joint Warfighting Development.
Leads, manages, and supervises the personnel assigned to the Operations and Plans Office.
Leads the Joint Warfighting Development Deputy Directorate in providing full spectrum Joint Force Development and Design support and capability that enables DD JWD to provide the current and future Joint Force the capability edge over any adversary or competitor.
Serves as the Chief of the Operations and Plans Office (OPO) and assistant manager of the Joint Force Development and Design Program.
Assure implementation (by lower and subordinate organizational units) of the goals and objectives for the program segments under the purview of the OPO.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS=14 grade level in the Federal service:
Advising on all matters related to joint doctrine development, professional military education, future concept development, allies' and partners' joint force development programs and wargaming and experimentation
Coordinating operations and actions internal and external to the Joint Warfighting Development Deputy Directorate
Assigning work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities, and difficulty.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
