This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy Commissioner Financing & Opperations. As a Project Manager (AGILE), you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction on various projects related to the DNP mission and the bureau's vision of Payment Integrity.
Duties
As a/an Project Manager (AGILE), you will:
Be responsible for bridging the gap between the customer, business stakeholders, and the development team.
Ensure the DNP program is aiming to improve program and project management (P/PM) practices as set forth by the Federal Government.
Maintain and develop a reporting module in the Governance & Enterprise Marketplace (GEM) in Salesforce.
Establish a Project Performance Dashboard that visualizes program and project data collected in GEM for Fiscal stakeholders and build out the overarching PMIAA framework.
Work with a development team daily to assist with requirements clarification, clear organizational roadblocks, and maintain a consistent agile process.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Applying Agile project management methodologies, procedures, techniques and tools, AND
Gathering, analyzing and applying problem solving methods to complete projects, AND
Leading forums, discussions or presentations to discuss objectives, make recommendations or persuade a variety of audiences, AND
Formulating, justifying, and monitoring the execution of budget plans to fund the implementation of major programs and services, AND
Developing tactical plans with input from a variety of stakeholders to roll into a strategic plan, AND
Experience with the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA) to ensure the DNP program is aiming to improve program and project management (P/PM) practices as set forth by the Federal Government.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
