About the Position: Serves as the Chief, Programs Management Office, and the principle advisor to the Director and/or Deputy Director on all aspects of administrative, financial, and supply programs management.
Duties
Advisor on all aspects of administrative, financial and supply programs management.
Plans, programs, directs, coordinates budgets and allocates resources for a wide range of functions.
Assures that workload and project responsibilities are specifically delegated and assigned to subordinates
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- TDY travel may be required approximately 20% of the time.
- One year supervisory probationary period is required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the following: 1) interpreting Administrative, Management, Contracting and Personnel laws, regulations, policies, directives, and guidelines; 2) experience developing business practices and process improvements; 3) interpreting and applying requirements,4) communicating program goals and requirements to management in order to garner understanding and support; 5) developing and monitoring compliance with policy, directives, standards, other guidance documentation/programmatic internal controls; AND 6) experience developing and writing policy, directives and standards, and other guidance documentation for organization programs and projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
